There is always a reason for a denture breaking ...

A repair due to accidental damage, such as dropping for example, will normally be long-lasting.
If a denture breaks while in use, it will probably break again and any repair cannot be guaranteed to be long lasting and should be viewed as a temporary solution.
A visit to your dentist will be required to reline or replace your denture.
